Communication patterns in maintaining marital harmony of the family in the village Tondegesan II districs Kawangkoan – Minahasa. in the daily life of man cannot be separated from what is called the communication. Communication is one of the important aspects of human life in this world. Direct communication, or often called face-to-face communication, or also known as interpersonal communication. Then communication group with a few people. As social beings, humans always want to connect with other human beings. He wants to know the surrounding environment, even want to know what\u27s going on inside him. This curiosity, forcing the human need to communicate. There is also communication with or through the media, the mass media, print and electronic. To the era when the gadget is present communication using new media such as internet, mobile phone, smartphone, and social networks such as facebook, bbm, instagram and others. All of which it is part of the communication is always done by humans to date.This study uses the theory of beliefs, altitudes and values and using qualitative research methods. Result: lack of confidence in establishing a marital relationship and mutual understanding in running a relationship. Suggestion: required mutual understanding between husband and wife when communicating in solving the problems, should be more calm, and also uses persuasive communication approaches to persuade or seduce the husband and wife, in order to stay in touch harmonious relationship without contention.
